Is the LC330 a dedicated/specialized label cutter?

Yes, that's right. Intec has developed this device specifically for the sheet label market
Our other ColorCut device can also be used for
Kiss-cut labels can be used, but not as efficiently as the LC330. The cutting head has only one tool position for the
adjustable cutting blades – and other design features are specifically designed for label media handling and label die-cutting requirements.

What does fully automated actually mean?

Good question: This means that after setting up the job, the LC330
runs automatically – feeding and cutting – without an operator being present.

Can the cutter cut a mixed batch of jobs?

Yes, and it's easy to do. Just load your mixed stack into the feeder and the cutter will read the QR code printed on the sheet and cut the associated cut file for that job. So if each sheet in the feeder has a different QR code, the cutter will read it and cut each sheet correctly.

How easy is the LC330 to use?

What makes the SC6500 so different?

Intec listened to its customers who said there was a big gap between them; simple, cheap cutters (that couldn't crease and also struggled with problematic feeding) and these sophisticated cutting and creasing systems (that were way out of their budget).

Intec invested research and development into producing a highly affordable and high-performance device that meets these criteria – and then some!

Not only does the SC6500 have special tools for cutting and creasing, it also features a revolutionary new suction tape take-up system for error-free feeding – along with a huge automatic stacker with a 1,000-sheet capacity. Amazingly, the SC6500 weighs in at about the same price as those inferior, cheaper cutters…

What does automatic actually mean?

Good question: This means that once the job is set up, the SC6500 runs automatically – feeding and cutting – without an operator being present.

How does automation deal with mixed jobs?

Simple. Thanks to the sophisticated software that comes with the cutter, the cutter can easily handle a stack of mixed jobs. The Vision3 CCD video camera reads the QR code on each individual sheet that is presented to it and immediately retrieves the cutting file associated with that job. This is seamless and can be done in no time at all - even if the sheets are placed in the stacker rotated by 180°

Can this machine both score and cut cards?

Absolutely! The dual tool head carries both a cutting and a grooving tool that can apply up to 750g of force, which is leading in its class. Currently, no device in this class is known to offer this possibility.
