Optical scanning The Scorpio series uses a camera that forms an integrated optical black mark registration system, which allows to read a black mark for each cutting plan. Optimizes the cutting speed. No problems with synchronization. Adjustable clutch This feature makes it possible to obtain flat, tight finished rolls and to cleanly wind up waste material. Size Matters The size of the Scorpio Series gives operators more room to load media easily and quickly, getting the machine up and running in minutes. Media Track The Scorpio series are equipped with an ultrasonic sensor system that creates a media loop at both the plotter entrance and exit to ensure a consistent media track during cutting operations. Cutting knives The Scorpio series is equipped with inexpensive multi-edge knives. The service life of the blades is extended by 4 times. Blank Labels Scorpio series can cut blank labels. Through Scorpio software, the operator only needs to set the label pitch. No printed black mark on the media is required. Software The Scorpio series software can be installed on any computer running Windows 8.1 or higher. It is not supported on macOS systems. Media The Scorpio series allows the use of media with a width of 101.6 mm (4") up to 350 mm (13.77"). Matrix Winding The Scorpio series features synchronized motorized core holders that prevent matrix tearing during removal and winding. Easy to move The Scorpio series is equipped with four wheels that make the machine easy to move.
