The Ricoh PRO DTF is easy to use and achieves fascinating results. The fully automated direct-to-film solution combines the process stages of printing, hot melt adhesive and film in one step. The transfer film is fed directly from the roll.

The PRO DTF 8 printing system is an "all-in-one solution" consisting of a large format digital printer, software RIP and a matching shaker with oven and rewinder.

The printer is equipped with piezo print heads for 8 color channels. The higher printing speed and high quality that can be achieved with this enables very high productivity.

How it works

In the Direct to Film (DTF) process, the desired motif for textile printing is first printed on a transfer film. A hot melt adhesive granulate is then applied and heated. This happens automatically in a single operation. The resulting transfer is later transferred to the textile using a hot press. The advantage of this process is its flexibility. A wide variety of textiles can be decorated: polyester, nylon, leather, but also classic cotton and mixed fabrics - without any pre-treatment.
