What is DTF?

A coated PET transfer film that has been optimized for printing with water-based textile inks. DTF is also known as direct-to-film and describes the printing of a transfer film with textile inks and hot melt adhesive, which can be pressed directly onto the textile without additional pre-treatment.

Why FOREVER DTF?

Developed and produced in Germany. With FOREVER DTF transfer films you can print no-cut designs with the finest details and intense colors. Available as instant (hot peel) or cold peel. With a matt or glossy surface. Low pressing temperatures of 120-150°C enable fast and problem-free production. The unique protective layer in the film ensures that the printing inks almost melt into the garment.

How it works

In the Direct to Film (DTF) process, the desired motif for textile printing is first printed on a transfer film. A hot melt adhesive granulate is then applied and heated. This happens automatically in a single operation. The resulting transfer is later transferred to the textile using a hot press. The advantage of this process is its flexibility. A wide variety of textiles can be decorated: polyester, nylon, leather, but also classic cotton and mixed fabrics - without any pre-treatment.
